Aligning resources and funding to invest in play and recreation initiatives

Strategic Partners

Our strategic partners work tirelessly to promote play and recreation initiatives through funding, advocacy and partnership. Their work helps direct funding to meet the needs of low-income communities, neighborhood revitalization, and immersion in play and recreation across the country.

United States Tennis Association (USTA)

The United States Tennis Association (USTA) is the national governing body for tennis in the United States. A not-for-profit organization with more than 520,000 members, it invests 100% of its proceeds to promote and develop the growth of tennis, from the grass-roots to the professional levels. We are pleased to be working with them on a number of initiatives to help bring the intergenerational sport of tennis to more locations throughout the U.S.

Carter's Kids

Carter's Kids creates awareness of fitness and self-esteem for America’s youth by building and developing community parks and playgrounds in neighborhoods across the country. Kids have the opportunity to take an active part in the building, which also helps create a sense of community by using, sharing, and caring for these public spaces.

Active Schools

The Active Schools national collaborative helps schools create Active School environments that provide America’s children with at least 60 minutes of physical activity before, during and after the school day. There is power in having the nation’s best and brightest come together to solve a problem. That’s why Active Schools operates on the collective impact framework – a model where like-minded organizations team up and combine resources to enact meaningful, sustainable change. Together, we strive to bring the positive benefits of physical education and physical activity to every child across the country because we know and believe that Active Kids Do Better.

PlayCore supports schools enrolled in the Active Schools program. To learn more about this partnership, Contact Us.
