Communities can capitalize on local assets, inspiration, and potential by thoughtfully engaging stakeholders to dramatically transform outdoor spaces into vibrant community assets. This session will explore projects of distinction that exemplify how communities have mobilized resources to turn research into practice and unite diverse communities.

  2. List three qualities of successful outdoor destinations that promote healthier, happier communities.
  3. Summarize the community engagement strategy, vision, and outcomes of at least one placemaking case example.
