PlayCore Builds a Music Park at local Chattanooga Elementary School as part of Annual Day of Caring

PlayCore partnered with the Kiwanis Club of Chattanooga for their annual Day of Caring to bring music outdoors at Clifton Hills Elementary School in Chattanooga, TN on November 2, 2019. The volunteers spent the day installing a variety of 10 musical instruments, painting in and around the school, weeding around outdoor basketball courts, and mulching planting beds.

“PlayCore and the Kiwanis Club of Chattanooga have partnered in an annual Day of Caring for the past four years,” said Sande Lambert, president of the Kiwanis Club of Chattanooga. “We’re thrilled to continue our relationship with PlayCore so we can continue providing outdoor pay opportunities for youth in underserved communities.”

Music parks allows anyone to appreciate the joys that music brings to themselves and others. The new Clifton Hills music park will bring a new way of playing and spending time outdoors while attracting families from the surrounding area to come make music together after school.
