Highland Products Group Participates in Food Drive to Help Hurricane Maria Victims

The staff at The Park and Facilities Catalog in Boca Raton, Fla., recently participated in a food drive to help the victims of Hurricane Maria who live in Puerto Rico. The donation was organized by Hope Marie Harms, our dealer sales representative.

The staff and company contributed food, coffee, baby essentials and bath items. Since most of Puerto Rico is without power, the staff also purchased much-needed flashlights and batteries.

Puerto Rico, which is home to 3.4 million residents, was devastated by the Category 4 storm on Sept. 20. Winds were recorded as high as 150 mph and the roofs of many homes were torn off, leaving the people without adequate shelter, power or water.

Hope Marie flew the items there at her own expense and said recipients told her the supplies came at just the right time. They expressed tremendous gratitude for the donation.
