Robertson Industries Sponsored a Family Through St. Vincent de Paul’s “Adopt-A-Family” Program

Robertson Industries sponsored a family for the holidays via The Society of St. Vincent de Paul’s “Adopt-A-Family” Christmas program.

St Vincent de Paul has been helping those less fortunate in the Phoenix area for over 70 years. Their mission is to feed, clothe, house and heal individuals and families in the community who would otherwise have nowhere else to turn for help.

We were assigned the Paez family out of Apache Junction, AZ. The Paez family had been nominated for the program by their community and were very humbled by the whole thing. As a sponsor our only requirement is to provide the family with all the fixings for a holiday meal and a limited number of wrapped gifts. A clothing item and toy for each child and one item for each adult living in the home.

Robertson proudly exceeded the requirement thanks to everyone’s contributions! The Paez family consists of 2 children (5 year old boy and 1 year old girl), a mother/father and a grandmother. Each child received a dozen different clothing items, a couple pairs of shoes and of course, plenty of toys! The adults also received presents – warm clothes and miscellaneous items.

Aside from the gifts, Robertson provided the family with toiletries, dry foods, and household essentials. They also received $425 in gift cards to Wal-Mart, grocery stores, restaurants, etc.

The family was presented with all of the items and were extremely grateful and overwhelmed by the company’s generosity.
