PlayCore Donates Hundreds of Hours
PlayCore volunteers donate countless hours of time and skills to local projects, industry advocacy, and serving on boards in local and national roles.

Charities of Choice
We support our corporate charities, United Way, the Chambliss Center for Children, and Ronald Mc Donald House of Chattanooga in a variety of ways, as individuals and as a corporation.

Days of Caring
Our annual Days of Caring bring together our dedicated and enthusiastic employees and local organizations for a day of volunteering to strengthen our community and enhance public services.
Strengthening Communities Through Day of Caring

American Recycling Center
American Recycling Center spent their time cleaning their “adopted” stretch of the Shiawassee River. They participate in this cleanup in conjunction with the Friends of the Shiawassee, which is a local non-profit that coordinates the annual community cleanup, providing cleaning supplies and the shirts.

BYO Recreation
BYO Recreation took part in the Waves of Gray, a 5K Brain Cancer/Tumor Awareness Walk with all the proceeds going directly to Baptist Jacksonville MD Anderson Cancer Center, specifically for brain cancer and tumor research.

DogiPot
DogiPot employees served at a small local church called Lockwood Missionary Baptist Church in Orlando. The church suffered from a recent hurricane with down branches a lot of debris. Seven DogiPot employees filled 40 - 55-gallon garbage bags and mowed and edged the lawn.

Everlast Climbing
The Everlast Climbing team assembled meal packages at Feed My Starving Children, a nonprofit Christian hunger relief organization whose mission is to feed starving and malnourished children throughout the world. Our team, along with others in attendance, assembled 27,648 meals that are being sent to Honduras.

Frog Furnishings
Frog Furnishings donated benches to the City of Olathe. This is where the team assembled these benches together and installed them at the designated locations given to them by the City. While the benches were installed in the parks, other employees were there to pick up trash in the area.

Fountain People
Fountain People team members donated to the Crisis Bread Basket, which was established to serve economically disadvantaged individuals and households in the area impacted by food insecurity. In total, these employees at were able to raise $1,000 worth of food to this organization

Gametime
GameTime and the Southern Fulfillment Center donated their time and over $60,000 worth of playground equipment to the Ider Special Service Center. The Ider Special Service Center in Alabama is a school program for students with special needs. A group of eight employees from the Southern Fulfillment Center spent five hours installing all the equipment

Icon Shelters
Icon Shelters partnered with the Lakeshore Habitat of Humanity, which is a non-profit organization that is currently building a 42-home development in Holland alongside Jubilee Ministries.

PlayCore
The PlayCore team volunteered for a day at the local Miracle League. We teamed up with children and families in a day of inclusive baseball, helping to ensure every child felt successful as they played. It was an extremely rewarding day of volunteerism as we played with these young athletes of all abilities!

Playcraft
Playcraft set up barrels for a food drive in the break area for our different departments to contribute to the local food bank. They had 199 participants and contributed a total of 356 pounds of canned food!

Porter Corp
Porter Corp employees donated their time at Hand 2 Hand, which has a mission of reducing weekend hunger for school aged kids. These employees spent three weeks prior to the event collecting food and cash donations. The Porter team was able to pack 3831 food kits which is very impactful to the West Michigan area!

Sports Surface Specialties
Sport Surface Specialties attended the Ovarian Cancer Project walk and sponsored $500 for the cause. Over 100 people attended this event, and employees participated from Sports Surface, Flexground, and Robertson.

UltraSite
UltraSite gave back to their community by hosting a Jukebox Bingo Night that raised $8,893! This was donated to the city of Red Bud, IL, and they enjoyed being able to see their employees and community come together.

Victor Stanley
Victor Stanley held a drive for back-to-school items, including hygiene products and school supplies. The drive accepted items such as feminine hygiene products, deodorant, comps, lotion, pencils, erasers, notebook, highlighters and many more items. Both companies matched the first items donated to their respective collection boxes.
