National Demonstration Sites

Implement Design Best Practices, Demonstrate and Share Impact

Research indicates that when evidence-based design best practices are implemented in the built environment, positive and measurable outcomes occur. PlayCore's National Demonstration Site (NDS) program helps communities build play or fitness environments using comprehensive, validated design research, then measure their positive effect through outcomes data reporting and translation.

There are five design best practice programs that help communities turn research into practice as National Demonstration Sites (NDS). Choose one or a combination of them to align with your goals. All NDS receive uniquely powerful benefits to promote community vitality and defend parks through site-specific data.
