PlayCore and CPRS Partner to Offer Professional Development Symposium to Promote Play and Health in Fresno

PlayCore, a leading designer, manufacturer, and marketer of a broad range of play and recreation products, will be offering a complimentary continuing education symposium in San Marcos, CA on Wednesday, May 20, 2015.  Presented by PlayCore’s Center for Professional Development, the event will include sessions that illustrate best practices for promoting community health through adult outdoor fitness parks, as well as providing meaningful play opportunities for people of all ages and abilities through inclusive playgrounds. 

In an effort to further the California Park and Recreation Society’s health and wellness initiative and promote the CPRS Brand Promise, PlayCore will provide state-wide professional development services in each of the five regions. The California Park and Recreation Society (CPRS) and City of San Marcos will host the CPRS Region 5 symposium designed for professionals in the fields of park and recreation, landscape architecture, and education. 
 
The event will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will be held at the San Marcos Community Center.  Sponsored by Great Western Park and Playground and GameTime, the sessions will be led by master trainer Lisa Moore, Senior V.P. Corporate Strategic Services, from PlayCore’s Center for Professional Development. The sessions offer Continuing Education Units for professionals and promise to be lively, informative, and educational. Lunch and educational resources will be provided.
