PlayCore Acquires Porter Corporation

PlayCore Holdings, Inc. (PlayCore), a leading designer, manufacturer, and marketer of a broad range of play and recreation products, today announced the acquisition of the Porter Corporation (Porter).

 
Since 1964, Porter has been innovating architectural structures. Their innovative structural
insulated panels (SIPS) helped revolutionize high performance building systems by combining
structure and insulation into one panel. Their well-known Poligon line of shelter structures leads
the industry in the design, engineering, and manufacturing of shade coverings for applications in
steel, fabric, and wood.
 
“We are excited to expand our line of shelter options, while increasing our operational ability with
additional technological and manufacturing capabilities,” said PlayCore President, Roger Posacki.
“We are excited about this opportunity to bring a market leader like Porter into our portfolio, to
expand and support our mission of building communities through play and recreation.”

Day-to-day operations will continue from Porter’s headquarters in Holland, MI, as part of
