Power of play: Kids use creativity, science to race pushcarts

To increase kids' interest in science, technology, engineering, and math, the Children’s Discovery Museum in Normal, IL hosted a pushcart derby race. With the purpose to inspire children to love learning through play, the race encouraged children to work together to spark creativity. In addition, the day also taught children the basics of philanthropy as the funds raised from registration were donated back to the museum.
