Home to the Chattanooga Zoo, the park also features options to engage anyone, of any age or ability, in activities designed to promote health and fitness.

Warner Park visitors can also enjoy the Warner Park Tennis Courts, ample walking/jogging paths, and the indoor Chattanooga Fitness Center located in the park. The fitness center offers low cost membership so that cost never has to be a barrier to going to the gym.

Another area of the park is dedicated to championship-level quality softball facilities for national, regional, and local tournaments, showcases, and league play every weekend from February to November. The softball complex is popular not only for its great amenities, but for the brand new Miracle League field, a facility designed so that people utilizing mobility devices can play baseball with ease, thanks to the poured rubber surface found throughout the field.

The nearby playground also has a baseball theme, and was designed utilizing  PlayCore's 7 Principles of Inclusive Playground Design, to ensure people of all abilities find the space fun, meaningful, and immersive. The playground was registered as a National Demonstration Site for its inclusive properties, and serves as a model for visiting communities wishing to create an all inclusive play experience.
