Education First is a unique group that combines language training with cultural exchange, academic achievement and educational travel to deliver courses and programs that transform dreams into international opportunities. As such, they house international students for short study periods on their campus in Cambridge, Massachusetts. While they were building their new dorms, they wanted to provide the students with bike storage facilities on campus. Since dorms are held to the same rules as other residential projects, the city of Cambridge required that they have exterior bike shelters to increase the number of covered and secured bike spaces.
As a passionate sponsor of cycling, Education First wanted to make sure their bike parking facilities were top notch. They reached out to leading bike storage manufacturer Dero to help. Dero, in turn, collaborated with Porter Corp, a creative company offering custom shade and shelters, to build the shelters to spec. Thanks to this collaborative experience with Dero and Porter, the Education First’s bike shelters were a success.
