Outdoor Creative Play & Learning System

PlayCore and its division, Play & Park Structures, have partnered with Robert Leslie Publishing to develop and offer a unique standards-based program for outdoor play, the Outdoor Creative Play and Learning System. This curriculum is a valuable resource for maximizing the opportunity for creative play and standards-based learning in the great outdoors. Taking classroom lessons that are typically taught indoors outside to the playground helps get kids moving and learning while meeting required content standards and having a whole lot of fun. This unique system helps educators appreciate and find learning opportunities in the everyday discoveries that occur on a playground. 

The System is designed to help educators link their learning activities to the outdoor play environment for increased physical activity, learning, and fun for children preschool age through 5th grade. Activity cards are designed to encourage children’s creativity and imagination while also linking to national standards in language arts, science, mathematics, physical education and health, social studies, early childhood, and creative arts.
